Interview with Kaytronik
Evening all, the seasonal period is well and truly upon us. So I thought I would deliver my own selection box of treats, including Kaytronik, Soul Renegades and Phil Asher. Delve inside to see what musical delights are in store for you.
Kaytronik Komplements EP
You may be familiar with the Baltimore house legend Karizma, well let me introduce you to his alter ego Kaytronik, bringer of the drums and beats. Kaytronik has a distinctly different sound, he pushes the boundaries of modern dance music you won’t hear music like this anywhere else. So it seems fitting that the Komplements EP has been released on Atjazz Record company label. The first track on the EP is Belined, with a beat that bubbles and electronic sounds that simmer, there is a hypnotic quality which takes you deeper than deep.
Where as I got it bad, has a jumpy fresh beat, with an infectious catchy hook that links the tune together. This is Tech meets Deep house on a lighter level, I defy you not to nod your head when you hear it.
This is an EP for those willing to listen outside the norm, Kaytronik doesn’t play safe and nor should he, this is an EP that will expand your mind.
